In case you haven’t noticed, we’re moving things over to our main site at mozak.science! Everything should work, but you should totally get in the habit of going there first instead while you’re playing in the public beta (eventually we’ll turn the development site into a closed development site).
It’s a smooth and seamless transition, so I am told, but if something is busted or not looking quite right, tack a note in the forums (via the community menu option above) and we’ll hunt it down.
Welcome Early Access players! We’re so glad you’ve joined us ahead of public beta!
Please give us ALL the feedback you possibly can, and pay attention to your emails for any surveys that might come around.
In the meantime, we have put together some tips and pictures that may help you separate the signal (neuron) from the noise. While we advocate tracing the entire neuron, we also recognize that it may be difficult to express what that means without a tutorial or visual examples.
First of all, let’s look at some pictures of a neuron.
Next, we’ll look at some pictures of what’s considered “noise” in Mozak.
Let’s place them side by side. Here, the green arrow is signal and red arrow is noise.
We hope that helps you out - please feel free to place links to images you may find confusing in the forums, or any questions about what you’re seeing here and we’ll see what we can do as a community to help you out.
Please be sure to check your emails and fill out our most recent Friends and Family survey! Your input is important to us!
Starting today when you log in to Mozak, you should see gameplay
improvements in a number of places. We need your input (on the forums
) on what you think and also your
bug reports. Curious if something is a known issue? You can keep up to date
by reading the known issues thread.
Important issues! We have updated tutorials, so your tutorials should reset automatically. This is not a bug, it’s a feature.
We’ve introduced a version of scores, new user interface improvements, and some all-new gameplay. Log in, meet your new user interface, push
all the buttons around a bit, give us your thoughts, and enjoy!
