A new round of scientist feedback and results is up now! Players have been doing an exceptional job tracing dendrites. There are still some false-positives making their way into consensus. Keep in mind as you trace that if it can?t be followed back to the main structure, it?s probably not real signal. Check out the results below for each challenge!

Mouse-V1-42
Mouse-V1-46
Mouse-V1-47
Mouse-V1-48
Human-TC-08
Human-TC-09
Human-TC-10

Thank you, players, for your continued contributions and patience. Mozak wouldn?t exist without you guys! We appreciate every trace, every bug report, and every feedback post.

Hi players, our partners at AIBS did a review of the neurons currently posted and have some new estimates of how complete the traces look. New comments have also been added on several neurons.

Much of the work left to do is faint axon, you might need to zoom in closer and utilize the Connect-the-Dots tool in order to accurately trace those parts out.

Finally some encouraging words from the scientists regarding your work:

“Overall I am impressed by two things:

1) The completeness of the dendrites in every cell that has been up for more than a few days.

2) The lack of false positives. In all these cells I only saw one instance of an obvious false positive.”

Hi players, tomorrow morning at 7:00am we will be deploying some updates. It should only take a few minutes, but you might notice a very brief disruption in service.

Also, you may have noticed some neurons being posted without accompanying news posts. Apologies for any inconvienence this caused. Generally neurons will be left up to 2 to 3 weeks, after which they will be closed and replaced with a new one. We will try to have a weekly update for any neuron closing/openings.

Newest Opened:

Mouse-V1-54

Mouse-V1-53

Closing:
Mouse-V1-49
